| - Stayed here mid September 2016. First off I read the reviews before going and knew not to expect much, we didn't really care just wanted somewhere cheap with a kitchen and close to the strip. The room smelled musty, there was mold on the wall and the floorboard in the kitchen, not just a little but the paint was bubbling and mold was coming out. Then on the second night after a lonnnng day of driving to the grand canyon we come back and just want to relax, after a couple hours of being back it started feeling really hot in the room. I go check the ac and you can hear it running but hardly any air was coming out, being from FL I automatically suspect its frozen up, and yes it was shut off the entire time we were gone that day. well by this time its midnight and I know we aren't going to get any help because the office was closed so I figure ill fix it myself. I take the front of the ac off and sure enough its iced up, so here I am at midnight in my underwear holding a hair dryer on it to melt the ice, well after the ice melts I can see why it froze up, it was CAKED with dust, hair, and whatever else it was I scrapped off that thing, I filled a whole bowl up with gunk. I read reviews before going and seen other had complained about other things ALOT and they all got the same result, rudeness from the staff and even the owner, while some even said they charged their credit card after they left, so I said screw it i'm not going to even bother, plus was afraid they would charge me or something stupid for messing with the ac myself, even tho I fixed it and it worked GREAT the entire rest of our stay. Our maid would sometimes only leave us one towel after cleaning even though there was two of us, we called front desk once and asked for more towels at like 6pm and they said the cleaning staff had gone home for the day. so rest of trip we just grabbed our own towels off a maid cart when we saw one on way to room. AND the FINAL straw, the final thing that is even making me write this review because I normally wouldn't is after we left the charged our credit card 3 more times for the price of the entire stay, which was just shy of $500, so 4 times total. they charged the initial one when we checked in which was normal, after we left, flew home, they charged the same charge 3 more times, all on diff days. Our bank 3 way called them and they said it must have been a mistake, how do you mistakenly run someone's cc 4 times all on different dates? DON'T stay here, spend the extra money and stay somewhere nicer.
