| - This is a five star restaurant if I've ever been to one. I went with my cousin on the suggestion of a friend, and loved every second of the experience. We started off with one of the best Sangrias I've ever had. The bartender's attention to detail was second to none.
Our appetizer was calamari with a nice spicy sauce. Amazing taste and the sauce was very flavorful.
The next course I had was a garlic soup with eggs and croutons. I'd never had garlic soup, so I didn't know what to expect. I liked it so much, it will be a go to whenever I come back. If I could give you an idea, it has a tingly bitterness to it that feels so good on your tongue.
We then moved onto the entree, which for me was pork chops with yellow rice and for my cousin was a cheese ravioli. Now, pork is a particular kind of meat, and has to be made immaculately for me to fall in love with it. Mallorca passed the test. It melted in my mouth and the sauce used on it was amazing. The same good things can be said for the bit of ravioli my cousin had me taste because she said, "You have to try this VJ (my nickname). It's so good."
For dessert I had a caramel cheesecake, and loved it. It will be a go to dessert for now on when I go back.
Our server was courteous and prompt. He earned his tip, and I made sure it was 20% for very good service.
The cherry on top were the complimentary Amarguinha shots they gave us at the end.
Final verdict is go here and go here now. Everything about this place is excellent from the food to the staff. Make it a lovely evening or afternoon. But, go at least once and you'll want to go back often.
