We checked out the Wynn since we were staying at the nearby Palazzo. I was curious to see how this compares to the Bacchanal since I just went earlier in the week. With Christmas week coming, holiday pricing was in effect (about $55/per person).
When you walk in, it's truly amazing how they have decorated. It's like a mash-up of Willy Wonka, Alice in Wonderland and your Grandma's English garden. We were seated in the first part of the buffet, further from the food but amongst huge towering flowers. I liked how quirky it was.
The food stations are fewer than Bacchanal, but they did have some unique things: made to order latke station (one of the best things!), made to order Chinese buns, and a really decadent dessert area. Overall, the savoury food was just so-so with quality. Some things were hits and misses (because it was overcooked), so this was where Bacchanal was better. But the reason why they earned a 3rd star from me was the desserts. They were all really good! Like every single one I picked up was a good one. Thank goodness they made them into mini sizes so I could try them all
If you've got a sweet tooth, I would recommend coming to this buffet.
