Really not that good. On the plus side, if you're large party, you probably can walk in any time and get seated.
The black cod used to be awesome, but on my last visit it was just OK. I didn't appreciate the server pressuring me into getting a side (which was awful...broccolini with garlic and CILANTRO? disgusting) and which also was really not needed.
The "forbidden bread" is good in a "if we throw in a lot of cheese and buttery pastry they will like it" kind of way.
The baba ganoush had...inexplicably...walnuts on top.
And why do they wait until after the apps are served to deliver bread? I guess they are afraid you won't order apps otherwise. This does not show confidence in the product.
Add to that the attitude of the bouncer at the bottom of the stairs and the overly loud music, and you get a "go nearby to Aria for a civilized, delicious meal".
