  • I'm very particular about Japanese food, and since this place is structured more like a bar/club (as some izakaya places are), I wasn't expecting anything too exceptional in terms of food. I was incredibly surprised. The presentation was really cool (especially the firecracker), but the quality of the food was incredible. This is one of my favourite Japanese spots in Toronto now, and I haven't gone wrong with anything I've had there yet. If you're looking for an izakaya establishment in Toronto this is a must-try.
