rev:text	This is my review for the Yonge/ Davisville location but I recommend you read this before going to any Pure Med Spa/Renew Beauty. Watch out - these people are fraudsters. I had laser hair removal done here in 2006 and was pleased with the results, so I called this location in November 2011 to book another round. The girl on the phone sold me a groupon-type deal but since it was "the last day of the promotion" she signed me up over the phone rather than directing me to the group buy website. This was my first mistake. I had the first three appointments as scheduled. Every time, I waited approximately 45 minutes and listened to the girls at the desk complain openly about their jobs. Twice I was sold other services - one deal for microdermabrasion, the other for a chemical peel - which I didn't want or need but felt pressured into buying. The next three appointments I booked were cancelled. Twice they called me and told me the machines were broken and finally on the last visit (in May) they admitted that the location had changed management and they were no longer honouring packages from 2011. They suggested I call back and speak to a manager to try and get my money back. I have now tried to reach the manager for two weeks and have not had my calls returned. I spent over $400 for services and only received 3 of the 6 treatments I paid for. I urge you to spend your money elsewhere and shut these people down for good. Oh, and they have a glaring spelling error on the sign behind the front desk. There's a good indication of the level of professionalism you can expect.
