  • I've been to a few dog bars and liked the concept, but felt that Lucky's really pulled off an inviting space that is fun for both dog owners and dogs alike! If having a pint of NC beer (or a mixed drink) and watching your dog tear up the play place sound like your kind of afternoon, then I would highly recommend this place. If you are asking "So, what's in it for me?" I'll break it down: For humans: - Tons of large screen TV's that will have all the big games you would want to watch - A surprisingly large draft selection of local NC breweries - Full stocked bar - Indoor and outdoor seating For dogs: - big indoor play pen for small dogs - huge indoor play pen for large dogs - outdoor play pen (all dogs) - plenty of dogs and people to hang out with On top of that, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. We weren't able to take advantage of the outdoor area due to the cold, but look forward to in the warmer weather coming up. Note that there are areas where you need to keep your dog on a leash and that your dog must be spayed/neutered. We look forward to returning soon!
