  • We stopped by Firebirds after seeing a friend in Peoria on my birthday last Friday. To our amazement there was an open table in the bar on a slammed Friday night. I'm not sure if it is, but it felt a bit chain-ish to me. We split a crunchy chicken salad and a burger and both were good, but not something I would drive back there for. I liked the look and feel of the place, reminded me a bit of the NW. Overall a nice dinner, but nothing to brag about.
