| - My husband first took me to this restaurant over two years ago. It is a hip little place that has both inside and outside seating. We have only been there for breakfast and lunch, but that's okay because the food is great! The menu is diverse without being overwhelming. Sometimes you try a place that mixes flavors that just shouldn't be together. At first, I thought this might be the case at DD, but not so. I suggest you set your volume on adventure and jump in. Try the place a few time, with different dishes each time.
I have tried most of their omelets, except for the tempeh and grains, greens and beans, and the crabby (shellfish allergy). My favorite is the Lox omelet. I like it with the Lox inside the omelet with the cream cheese mixed with the eggs. I also like a side of hollandaise sauce to pour over top. Mmmmm... Always go for the DD hash on the side of anything you order. Don't ask, just do it. There are three breakfast bowls and I only go with two. Hint: I am not a big fan of tempeh and baby kale. Pancakes!! My only other favorite place for pancakes is First Watch's and their carrot cake pancakes. The cinnamon roll pancakes at DD are enough to send me into a food coma just from the shear smell. Incredible! French Toast? Yes, please! Their banana bread french toast are so good. We get a plate and share between 4 people. They are incredibly delicious; like a Saturday treat for a week well done. The waffles are amazing. The peanut butter and jelly sound interesting? They are actually really yummy! There are a few dishes worth mentioning on their specialty item section. Take a chance and try the Southwest wrap, the Hangover sandwich or the Southwest Flannel Hash. You might find a favorite.
Daily Dose has become a wonderful addition to a restaurant repertoire. This is now a place that we regularly meet friends on an early Saturday morning, to talk, eat, and relax a nice chill setting. We love this place and that won't change anytime soon.
