First thing to know, this is a restaurant in the Wynn - it is going to be expensive.
When it comes to the food, Red 8 is definitely above average. Every dish that I had was enjoyable and slightly different from the mainstream versions. The chicken lettuce cups (basic I know) were light and flavorful. The spicy pork with bell peppers was decent; everything I expected and nothing that I didn't. But the deep fried chicken with chili sauce absolutely made the meal for me. The sour/spicy flavor balanced well with the light/crispy crust of the chicken. Highly recommend this dish.
Overall the meal was good. Don't come into the meal with the highest of expectations or shallow pockets and you will come out of it happy.
