  • The Distillery District is my personal favourite escape when the pressures of the Toronto rat race start to close in on me and SOMA chocolatemaker is one of the reasons why. SOMA crafts a large variety of very unique chocolate bars, truffles, hot drinks and other treats that there is sure to be something for everyone. As a dark chocolate lover - I have grown quite fond of the 100% Arcana dark chocolate bar. Though, half the fun of each visit is examining the various bars with unexpected combinations of ingredients that will peak your curiousity. In the cold winter months, SOMA's famous Spicy Mayan Hot Chocolate is sure to be a welcomed warm-up with a slight ginger kick. The chocolate is manufactured in-house and the process is visible for all who are visiting. Whether you are intrigued by the chocolate-making process or just looking for something distinct to satisfy your chocolate-loving taste buds, SOMA is the go-to place and has sucessfully cemented its reputation as such.
