My quest to find a fabulous chocolate shop in Vegas has finally come to an end at jin ju! It only took me over 20 years lol when traveling the Pacific north west where most of my family lives you get spoiled. That land attracts artisan chocolate makers, and for so long Ethel ( formally known as Ethel m) and godiva have tride to parade around acting like they the spot to go here in vegas. Have you ever looked at their ingredients or really tasted that stuff?! Wolves in sheep's clothing! That is what they are!
Jin ju reminded me of one of my favorite shops near Seattle in the queen ann area called chocolapolis. Similar aesthetic, and lean towards unique flavor combos. Each chocolate has its own special decoration, many look like lovely jewels with their shimmery shells. The flavors are very clear in each chocolate, and it doesn't taste like it's full of artificial concoctions. While boldly flavored, each has a lovely balance, and not overly sweetened. The filling to outer shell ratio is also perfect. Compared to many artisan shops, the prices are actually very reasonable. I got about 13 pieces for 17 dollars. Many shops would easily charge double.
I won't tell you which one to pick because I loved each one with a deep undying passion. So basically this place rocks, and it is found on the second level of the container park. I love you jin ju!
