The Salted Lime has always been my favorite spot for a margarita and appetizers until tonight. Even though it is Cinco De Mayo the service should have been better. I only seen 2 servers there. It took our server 15 minutes to come to our table to greet us. At that time we placed our entire order including drinks from the bar, appetizers and entrees. My six year old son was with me and was ready to eat. 25 minutes after being seated they finally brought us chips and salsa but still no drinks. 45 minutes after being seated I finally got my drink from the bar that was not what I ordered. I ordered a blended margarita but received a margarita that sat so long before they brought it to me that all the slush had melted. So the server said they would make me another one. So after about an hour we finally got the appetizer (Bacon Wrapped Shrimp). It had set so long before being brought to our table that it was barely warm and the sauce that is drizzled on the plate for decoration was dried to the plate. When I finally got my drink from the bar I asked for more chips and salsa. After about another 15 minutes they brought bean dip and he said he would be back with chips...that never happened. In the meantime my son was ready to leave because he want McDonald's now. 90 minutes after being seated our food finally comes to the table. At that point I asked the guy who brought the food to please bring us a box...he scoffs at me. I told him never mind we are leaving. During that whole time I was there, 2 families that were seated after us left before placing an order. I tried to be patient because I know it was a busy night, but this was unacceptable. I have always sat in the bar area and was my first time going to the restaurant side. Truly disappointed with my experience.
