| - If I could negative stars I would! So I had to take my car to get smog checked today. Ive been a customer for like 4 years.Never had any issues prior to today. So like I said, I needed a smog. So this gas station has a smog place connected to it. The dude that did the smog was very nice. Very professional. He said a smog was going to be $24. Plus $1 to use debit or credit card. If you pay cash there's no extra charge. I asked him if there were any sort of coupons online or anything that I could use to save a few bucks. He said no but said he would do the smog for $20 bucks. That's awesome of him to do that. I greatly appreciated it. Even if it was only a few bucks. It was the fact that he offered. Well all I had was a card. So because the guy was so cool I told him I was gonna go inside to get a cold drink and offered to buy him one as well. So I go inside, get us each an ice tea and some peanuts and beef jerky for myself to snack on. Amount came to like $15 bucks. I asked the cashier if I could get cash back but he said no not at the registrar but they had an atm machine right next to me. I was going to pay for my stuff with my card and he said it's an extra .50 cents to use card. Geeze! These people suck money out of every crack they can! I guess... Anyway so instead of having to pay the .50 cents to use my card and then pay another $2.99 to take money out of the atm to pay cash for my smog to avoid those fees too, I told the cashier I would just pull the money from the atm and pay for my food and drinks by way of cash. Very laid back guy, ok cool no problem he says. And keep in mind, I did not have not $1 cash in my wallet. So I pulled $200 cash out. Dispensed in all $20 bills. I count my money right in front of the guy and hand him a $20 bill for my stuff. Got my change and went back next door to pay for my smog. So I pick up the stack of money I just pulled from the atm machine and I notice one is a little off colored. Just seemed a little lighter then the other bills. So in front of the smog guy, I hold up the bill to the light. Sure enough it was fake. It also has a tear in the corner. I take my stack of $20 bills and March back inside and gave it to the cashier guy. I showed him all the other bills and told him the atm just gave me fake money. He was nice and told me yes he seen me pull it out and he seen me count it in front of him. He then called for his boss which is an elder Arabic man. And just for the record, I ALWAYS and I mean always respect my elders. I don't care if they are wrong or not. I will always show them respect and never disrespect them with words or otherwise. So I started to try to explain what happen and he immediately started raising his voice with me. He would not allow me to get a word in edgewise. Yelling at me telling me I was lying and it's impossible for the atm to give me fake money. Yes sir, I understand that it sounds crazy and it's very rare that this ever happens. I am a lot of things in life but a damn lier is NOT one of them. I am very respectful to anyone or anything I encounter in my life. I would never steal and lie from a hard working man such as himself or anyone else for that matter! So he starts yelling at me to call the police. I told him that is ridiculous and in not calling the police on him. I just wanted him to understand what happen and at least say sorry or suggest I call the atm company or something. But no, none of that happen. He was very fired up and I just stood there very calm and waited for him to stop screaming in my face to tell him my side of the story. I also told him I would love it if he could heck the cameras. He indicated they did not record which I find very hard to believe. So when I put the money in my wallet after I got it from the atm, I folded it in half and then in half again to put it in my wallet. He told me that I didn't get this money from the atm because it was folded and the money comes out crisp and straight. After he said that I started to explain and show him how I folded the money and put it in my wallet. I got maybe 5 words out and he starts screaming again saying I'm lying. I knew this was not going anywhere. I just told him this... Sir, I am a single mother. I need every dime that I have. You have done nothing but yell in my face and belittle me and call me names. Shame on you for running a business this way. I then turned around and walked out. And he was still screaming the whole way saying I was lying and shame on me for trying to steal money. That literally made me laugh. He is out of his mind and needs professional help. The blatant disrespect he had for me as a women was nothing short of disgusting and pathetic. People like him will not be in business long while treating people that way.
So of course iwill never return to this place and give them my business. And I hope anyone that reads this does the same.
Oh, ps. They have no fountain drinks either! No ice neither! This place is a dump!
