I bought a Groupon deal with Edge Fitness for their tanning salon. It was a good buy and I needed some color for EDC. That was it. I'm not a routine tanner.
Edge Fitness screwed me over. They take your debit or credit card info and charge you if you don't cancel by the end of the Groupon deal. Even if its a day later and you haven't even used the services for over three weeks, in my case.
I called a few days before it was up to cancel, and they wouldn't' cancel it over the phone, I had to come in. Okay. I ended up having to take an emergency trip to Arizona and didn't have the time or memory to cancel before I left
Well, they charged my account even after explaining all this to them the very next day, not a week later, when I was supposed to cancel.
The staff wouldn't do anything for me and said they are "firm" on that. I'm waiting to get in contact with the manager, even though he is "firm" as well so said the staff member.
So far, I'm unhappy with how they are handling this.
