| - This past Saturday night my fiancé and I tried Arcadia Tavern for the first time, and it was really good! If I'm being honest, we were actually trying to go to O.H.S.O. down the street, but it was already almost 8p and there was a 40 minute wait there. I was about to pass out from hunger or eat my hand at that point (lol), so we decided to check out Arcadia Tavern instead.
Luckily, this turned out to be a really great choice! I'm not sure if it's always like this or if the Tavern normally has an earlier crowd, but when we came it was really empty, and we were seated right away. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient, so we were able to order fairly quickly, and I was able to not die from hunger.
I will say that their beer selection isn't the best, but they have a decently wide variety, and I know my fiancé and I can sometimes be picky. I started with the San Tan Devil's Ale, which was good, and my fiancé got the Moscow Mule. He said it was good and very strong, so at least we got our money's worth! He also later got a Stella, but that was a bit stale.
For dinner I got the Fish n' Chips, and it was so good! The portions were really big - four good sized pieces of well seasoned fish, though it could have been a little crispier, really tasty fries, and delicious coleslaw (it's hard to find good coleslaw, and I like when places put kale in their coleslaw lol). My fiancé got the Hangover Burger, which he said was really good, just a little messy!
A lot of the other reviews said that Arcadia Tavern was overpriced, but we really didn't think so! It seemed very average, exactly what we would normally pay for two entrees and drinks :)
