The dentist and the hygienist are nice enough, but the office itself seems more than a bit run down. The magazines in the lobby are so old and worn, I didn't even want to touch them. The fabric upholstery on the chairs is stained and torn. The vinyl upholstery on the dentist chairs are cracked and dirty. There are paper signs in sheet protectors taped to the wall. And the wait... Don't get me started on the wait! We were there for almost 2 hours for a simple cleaning - we waited 45 minutes just to be seen, then waited another 45 minutes for the dentist to check the hygenists work. We were only with the hygienist for 15 minutes, and then with the dentist for maybe 5 minutes. Thank goodness I have a mellow kid that doesn't mind the dentist. That wait would have been brutal with an antsy toddler, or a nervous kiddo. They are always sincerely apologetic about the wait, but maybe they should just schedule more efficiently. Lastly, our orthodontist asked us to schedule a double extraction; the receptionist had us jump through so many hoops to get it set up. It's not like we're requesting to have baby teeth pulled out for fun! Maybe it's time to find a new dentist office...
