There is an underground parking lot so I parked there and walked up to the store. There's also parking in front of the store but it might be hard to find if it's your first time going there.
I came here to try out their cheesecakes since the hype was so strong. Many people said that the cheesecakes here beat a certain someone who makes Japanese cheesecakes.
One of the walls was decorated with tiles and the other side was pretty plain. Nothing too special. When i entered, there were two adults with two children inside the store. I noticed some of the original flavoured cheesecake on the table for samples. The male employee working there asked the lady in front of me if they wanted to try the samples (shortly after I entered). It was quite a large piece of cake and yet the male employee working there gave all of it to the people in front of me. When they left, I asked if there were more samples and he said there were none left (with an awkward chuckle). However I saw some cakes that were already baked sitting to cool in the kitchen.
I purchased the chocolate cheesecake. The employee got a prepackaged box for me and that was it. It was quite fast. There were many boxes in the fridge so I assume they prepackage them.
The cake however, was not to my liking. Although I could tell it was baked the day of, the texture was too airy (the best way to describe it, it's like they over beat the egg whites or it wasn't fully cooked). There was also not much cheese and egg flavour. It also tasted quite buttery to the lips.
I put the cake in the fridge and tried it the next day as I heard that it tastes better. It was not the case. The cake was a bit more firm, but upon cutting it, it was very crumbly.
I think the other cheesecake store does a better job in terms of flavour and quality!
