TI was recommended by a friend. I brought my kids to see the Jabawokeez, as it was my daughters birthday wish so we booked a room at TI. Check in was a bit lengthy as only 3 of the 8 hotel employees behind the desk were helping guests. However, the gentleman who helped check us in was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. The beds were comfy and the pillows are great. I really liked that each set of elevators went to a set number of floors. We hardly had any wait times and they were never packed. The maids were very sweet. Each time we passed them they would kindly greet us.There is a CVS attached to the hotel, which was convenient. Go there to buy water and drinks. The prices are higher than a normal CVS but cheaper than the vending machines and bars.
The main issue I had is that this is not a kid friendly hotel.
There aren't many restaurants. The restaurant prices are outrageous. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to eat.
The pool was full of beer and beer guzzling 40 somethings. They were spraying each other and having a great time...normally I would not care but there were kids in the pool (not just mine). The lifeguards and pool attendants didn't care. I called down to the front desk and inquired about the normalcy of having beer dumped into their pool. They didn't have an answer. There is very little shade and not much deck room. The lounge chairs were clean and comfy. The pool looked nice. It's very shallow and quite small, especially for such a large hotel. There are a lot of cabanas. The jacuzzi looked more like a little tikes play zone. Luckily it was barley luke warm. TV channels are limited and spotty, but the tv was a good size.
The bath towels were a bit rough but they were clean. The bathroom is a good size, lots of counter space. The tub is deep and roomy. There is no fan in the bathroom and the door must be manually shut or it will swing back at you. It is quietly ventilated. There is a blow dryer hiding in the closet with the mini fridge and ironing board.
The $30/day resort fee is a joke.
