| - Hurray, a food truck! Judging from their offerings, I was pretty eager to give them a try. After a long hike on the mountain, the timing couldn't be better. The service is really laid back, which I love, plus there is a certain social element to the whole food truck experience, you chit-chat with the driver, you chit-chat with others..
Their main attractions are duck poutine in wine sauce (this seems to be getting huge), duck or chicken sandwich and shrimp guédille (a small shrimp sandwich filled with onions, cilantro, mayo...). So I got the latter, along with a lavender iced tea. The sandwich was so flavourful, very well done mayo, and the shrimp tasted soo fresh! Another great surprise was my lavender tea, but it was incredibly sweet, so be warned.
The unpleasant surprise was the price. For 12$, dude, I want a sub, and my guédille was no larger than my hand.Like, woah. I still haven't given up on them, I know they have some great desserts in store, so I think I'll be back for that, but in the meantime, I'm gonna fix myself supper..
