  • One of Oakland's signature establishments, getting viking horns on their 21st birthday at Peter's is a must for Pitt Students' bucket lists. Favored by Pitt's Greek Life, Peter's has three main areas: a dining area to entrance left, a bar area to entrance right, and a dance floor upstairs. You're unlikely to get into this bar if you're using a fake ID, unless it's a good one, or unless you're in with the bouncers. Peter's offers daily specials, friends and I were fans of SUPER cheap Monday night wings and beer. When I mean cheap, I mean cheap - these wings are and not particularly special/delicious, but it does the trick for the college pocket and appetite. Weekend nights, and select weeknights (depending on when in the semester) are wild at Peter's. It will be difficult to wade your way through the drunk and horny masses. Having an attractive friend may help you get the bartenders' attentions sooner. Peter's is the move for crazy nights, when all you want is to drink and dance. Good luck having a conversation with the noise.
