Tough to give a star rating because although my kids "seem" to like coming here, the facility is way over crowded. They have way too many kids enrolled in Pre-K that they don't have a permanent classroom for the overflow. I came over from their old location in summerlin which was smaller but a much more manageable facility & number of students for the staff. They are severely under staffed here & it's obvious from the overworked/stressed teachers. I would count to make sure their kid to teacher ratio meets minimum state standard, because it's gotta be mighty close depending on the time/day you drop in. They move kids & staff around like musical chairs to try & meet the MINIMUM ratios, and forget any daily report card paper work. It's expensive compared to other daycares and my kid doesn't have her own cubby like at the old location to store her extra clothes, etc. When I picked her up her stuff was on the floor in an open walk through area. I had to search in 4 different classrooms before I could find my kid, lucky they have glass walls I guess. Fancy facility, but don't be fooled by all the bells and whistles. They make a lot of money and spend it all on the latest and greatest building and huge full-color mailers but don't spend where it counts; making sure they are sufficiently staffed and saying no to enrollment they clearly cannot accommodate. I brought my kid to this new location because she knows the other kids her age & some teachers but it's not run as smoothly as their old summerlin location. No finger print entry, very easy to enter while another parent is being buzzed in. Been going for 3 weeks now and I still have no digital/computer check-in, just a sign in book. I left and no one was really watching who was coming in/out. I feel like someone could easily walk off with a kid. So while the kids seem to have fun here, to me it's not worth the money. Will be looking else where so she can actually learn something and not just play. 2 stars because she likes coming here and the old staff from summerlin location is nice. Minus 3 for over crowded facility, lack of child security/monitoring and lack of actual learning.
