We decided to try a different steakhouse for dinner before the Justin Timberlake concert at MGM. What a big mistake! I had the worst steak, ever! I ordered a med-well filet and it came out dry, overdone, salty and with ligaments. When the waiter brought it to the table, my first reaction was that it didn't look like a filet. A filet is usually round and thick. This one looked overcooked and unrecognizable. When I cut into it, the meat was hard. I didn't eat it. My friend had the Coffee and Cocoa Rubbed Filet and that came drenched with some sauce that wasn't mentioned in the menu. It wasn't what he expected but it was edible. We ordered grilled asparagus and it was overcooked and salty. These were shoestring size asparagus where other steakhouses I've been to usually serve thick asparagus when grilled. When the busboy asked me if I wanted to take my steak home, I told him it was the worst steak I ever had. Then the manager came over and I explained to him my dislike. He apologized and said he'll mention it to the chef. He also asked if I wanted something else to eat but the concert time was approaching so I declined. When the bill came, my steak was taken off it. The manager gave me his card but I won't be back. I gave it one star because the service was good.
