I received ads in the mail of business cards for this office and decided that I would use this attorney for taking care of my ticket-one charge of no proof of insurance in the vehicle and the other for speeding 1-10 mph over the speed limit.
When I first arrived at the office the receptionist Nikki seemed nice helped with paperwork and told me my court date would be on may 23 and even allowed me to make my $100 payment a few days later when my check came (on top of the $30 fee). She told me to bring in my current proof of insurance and I would be set.
I was told that they would drop the insurance violation completely and my speeding ticket would be reduced to a parking ticket. That said - I was elated.
As soon as I got my insurance, I brought it in and was then told that my court date was on June something?! I have been postponing my military duty because of this ticket- I made that very clear to them and asked why they would schedule me for the date in May if they weren't going to keep their word? "The court date was full" really?! Lack of organization- also lack of professionalism when I asked them about it: just a snarl and rude attitude saying "lemme get a manager".
Ok, the manager Stephanie came out and said that she would have the lawyer walk it in. No problem, "oh but I need your letter of experience from the last insurance". Uhm, ok? Why wasn't I told this In the first place?
She told me to send it to her email address and they would take it to court by the end of the week.
This was a Monday that I walked in to do this. I emailed her my letter of experience no more than 45 minutes after I left the office- promised to be done by the end of the week? I call TWICE on Saturday to ask about the results of my case: I don't get a call back until Monday, by a very rude manager Stephanie. I asked about my case and was AGAIN told my court date would be until JUNE.
Excuse me?
I reminded her about her promise, she then asked me if I sent in my letter of experience and I told her I did the very day I talked to her 5 days earlier!! She said "ok, then we'll have that done by this week."
I walk in on Friday, the receptionist told me the case was taken the day prior.. Alright-weird since they told me my case would be expedited for my military and court dates are on Tuesdays and Thursdays for attorneys. "The court system only updates every ten days, just to let you know."
...
Whatever, I just wanted to be done with them already. I walk out.
Here I am on Tuesday, checking the status for my case, hoping to pay my balance and be off---case updated June 4th: today.
Balance due: $1280.00!!!!
THIS ATTORNEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ME! They didn't do what they said they would do AT ALL. !
I am out $130 plus my time and gas money, and nothing, not one thing was changed!
Do not go here! This is beyond terrible. Still postponing the military..
No professionalism. No manners whatsoever. They don't stick to their word. And they don't come out with results.
If you like to be treated like trash as a customer paying into a business for a service, wasting your time, throwing away your money for nothing to be changed, this is the place for you. Otherwise don't come here.
I am utterly disgusted.
