| - I was traveling with 2 cats, and needed a pet-friendly hotel. La Quinta fits this perfectly. I booked an Executive room with one Queen size bed.
When I arrived, I definitely knew this is a pet-ok vicinity; people were walking their dogs everywhere, and more dogs are seen in the cars while customers were checking in.
Like others have said, management is very friendly, nice, and helpful. I checked-in around 9:30pm last night.
However, troubles began brewing the minute I walked into the room.
I let my cats run around the room to give them some breathing space, but very soon, I found my cats scraping their sides against the floor like scratching an itch. That's when I realized fleas had gotten into her body and were crawling around her fur! I spent the next few hours bathing my cats and doing some intensive flea-combing.
I was finally able to get some sleep around 1:30am, only to be woken up by water dripping down the ceiling around 4:00am. I called the front desk, and management found out the dude staying upstairs came back drunk in the morning and left the bathtub water running for a few good hours. I was moved immediately to 106, one of their biggest rooms. I was not charged for my stay due to this inconvenience.
Needless to say, some of my belongings were soaked nasty in the bathroom. Cats remained high and dry for the night though.
Although it was not a very pleasant experience, I am glad the staff was able to resolve this as promptly as possible.
