  • The Cleveland Museum of Art is truly a world class venue. I have absolutely no problem including it in a list with its peers in New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia. In fact, the CMA experience for me is better than any of those places because it isn't crawling with tourists. I love coming here to escape from the world and get lost for a few hours. Bonus points for the awesome surrounding area- steps from the Western Reserve Historical Society, Cultural Gardens, Museum of Contemporary Art, Case Western, etc. If you live here in Cleveland and haven't been here- get on it! If you are visiting, CMA needs to be on your list of things to do. It's also not a bad idea to come to Cleveland just to see the art museum.
