| - So, the kid inside of me has been begging me to take me here all week. I love my summer iced treats like the rest of us, but sometimes I don't want to indulge in the heaviness that is sometimes spurred by ice cream. With that being said, I couldn't wait to try this place.
The atmosphere is quaint and cutesy, with a view of the spinning ice, colorfully displayed syrups, and seating in and outside of the space that includes adorable little holes in the patio tables to set your shave ice for exciting the easily amused adults (aka myself) and children.
Flavor list includes a lot of options (think from mai tai to root beer, bubblegum to cotton candy, and everything in between).
As for texture, the ice is soft and every bite is consistient with flavor and allows for the syrup to coat all of the ice. My only complaint is that towards the end it was very, very sweet and saturated with syrup and melted ice. Next time I will ask to go light on the syrup, or maybe stick with one or two flavors instead of three.
