  • We moved here from California at the end of March found a beautiful house closed on it Apr 28 and saw the store front of House 2 Home.com in Henderson. The worst thing we did was to go into this store. We met the sales person Kevin Moradi a sales person found laminate flooring, Granite counter top and carpeting that we liked. We should have become immediately suspicious when he said they need to be paid in full up front. Thank God I used a credit card. Kevin had said of course we have a contractors license, you don't do this business without one. We are seniors and didn't think to ask to see it or get the number. Bottom line the job was done faulty and remains incomplete 45 days since they started. They damaged our newly painted walls. Installed the laminate moldings backwards so that the cut edges show out instead of in. Didn't include a saddle at the entry door so there is a nice floor with an old worn saddle. The Granite counter tops still have residue from the sink installation all over them. One wall of back splash which should have been one piece was installed in 2 pieces and the joint is uneven. The breakfast bar is still not level and when they attempted to correct it and add braces the workman said, he doesn't need a beam finder and proceeded to drill what ended up being 3 holes because he couldn't find the beam. After all this I called to speak with Kevin many many times. The woman who answers the phone says he is not available and takes a message. Finally after weeks Kevin calls and has an attitude. He says whenever I call it is either his day off or before his shift. I said the woman never says you are not in only not available. He says I am not going to ever return a call or speak with you again and that he is giving this to customer service Lita They sent someone to repair the walls who still missed one spot and said a painter would come to fix my paint job. Kevin claimed that this person should have painted. The man told me I do Granite I am not a painter.. Now customer service does not call back either and somewhere along the line I discover that when you call their phone number the person you speak to is an answering service they use to avoid speaking to unhappy people. Today we went to the Nevada State Contractors Board where we discover that this companies General Contractors license had been revoked a long time ago and that there have been many many complaints. We filed a criminal complaint against them and the DA is going to prosecute Kevin. They showed me State of Nevada statute that says when they do not have a license they enter into a contract they are in violation of the law . RUN FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE NOT A GOOD BUSINESS.
