  • I recently moved from Seattle to Pitt and it was about time that I got a trim! Seeing as how I wasn't familiar with any hair salons, I immediately got on Yelp. That's what it's here for! Based on Kelly M's review, I booked with Liz and was absolutely pleased with the results. Liz is very easy to talk to, professional, and gracious. I immediately felt like my hair was in good hands. I had a picture from Vogue that I liked, and she did a great job of getting me the same look. Liz also made some very good suggestions for styling products and hair styling technique. As expected in any hair salon, she made a fair effort at trying to get me to buy the styling products and shampoo when I was paying for the cut at the counter. It was really hard to say no! I didn't buy anything, but I felt a little guilty. I don't think that she was tacky and hawking products at me, but it was very suggestive (not in the sexy way, but in the literal way). Having said all of that, I am definitely going back to Liz for all of my hair needs from now on! I am also going to be buying Bb products in the future. By the way, MCN's prices are comparable with Sephora! I checked it out, there's not really a markup. So if you're worried about paying too much for products, you can trust that you're at least getting the same price as you would be paying at Sephora.
