I lost my cat Bitty Feb 9th. We had him cremated. Got the ashes back the following week. Included was a stamp of his foot print and a clay footprint keepsake. They were not his foot prints. He's a polydactyl with extra toes on all four feet. Now I'm wondering who's ashes I have. I feel they have preprinted foot prints and clay prints that they give everyone. I know my cats feet. His extra toes was why I adopted him.
When I came in to discuss the matter I was met by a receptionist that immediately was rude when she found out why I was there. She even said "No one told us to stamp his whole foot". That's so unacceptable!! Then she said well they probably stamped his back foot. Not possible. He had extra toes on all four feet. Finally the office manager came over. She was way nicer and soft spoken. She to couldn't explain how this happened. She offered me a refund. Not that it fixed it. But I told her I did want the refund since the services they provided weren't what I was promised.
I'm keeping the ashes. I'm always gonna wonder if it's really my cat but I have nothing else. I know it wasn't my cat's prints on the ink print or clay print.
14 years with my Bitty it was like losing a child!
Don't use this place! Ask your vet for an alternate business!
