I was so excited to try this place that I drove about 7 miles to get there. That doesn't seem like a lot but considering how many cupcake shops I passed along the way, it was far to drive for cupcakes! I pulled up into the parking lot and saw a CUPCAKE sign but I didn't see a Lil Brown Sugar Sign anywhere. I checked the suite number on Yelp to make sure I had the right place. The kids and I entered the shop to find a very bare case of cupcakes. After a minute or so 2 people emerged from the back room and they looked at each other rather confused, like "customers?" The woman was wearing a Euphoria scrubs outfit which was a bit strange, I thought. The kids each picked out a cupcake and I had a lemon square. There were two tables inside, one of which had a half eaten open box of Little Caesars pizza on it; not very appealing! Don't you have a break room for that? The cupcakes were ehh! My daughter disliked the icing on her Hot Fudge Sundae cupcake and picked it all off. The cupcake was rather dry and lacked flavor. My other two kids ate their cupcakes so fast I didn't get to try them, one was Cake Batter and the other was Strawberry Lemonade. My lemon square was good. Not impressed and I won't be back.
