  • I have been going here since I was a freshman in college (2001). I love Hemingway's but you have to know what you are getting yourself into. No they do not have the best food, service or cleanliness... you go because thats what you did when you went to Pitt. Every few months I meet my friends from college at Hemingway's. They have $5 off the menu from 11am-12pm. I typically order one of the grilled cheeses that are decent. This time I switched it up and ordered the one with crab cake. It was pretty good. The place was packed because of finals week. There were tons of drink specials and late night food specials for the students. If you didn't come here in college you probably wouldn't like it but I will continue to return!
