Okay!!
So I've been here about three times. And I've finally come to the conclusion that this nail shop does not deserve my business.
First visit went fairly smooth. I had gone some place else and they screwed me up BIG TIME!! So I came to T Nails hoping someone could turn my frown into a smile. There are two guys that work there. They have the first two chairs when you walk in. The first guy is who i went to. He did a decent job on my fixes. Which is why when i needed a fill i went back. However he wasn't there. So i sat in the second guys chair. I told him it was My second time coming. But i had taken my nails off and went for a full set thinking they would be better if the person could display their own work.
He made my nails SO THIN. I told him i work with my hands daily and that they would break. I also told him they were too long. He chose not to listen to me, said he did nails for 30 years and in new york and told me they looked nicer long and his nails never break. He made them lumpy also.. Just not good work at all. He said if they did, however, come back and he would fix it... Three days later, im in the restroom, go to wipe and SNAP!! There goes the first nail. So i went back and told him to fix it. He did and he shaped the new nail completely different than the others. He noticed some of the lumpiness in the other nails so he drilled them down a did the acrylic over. And in the others He added an extra clear coat of gel. I literally got home about two hours later and another nail snapped. By this time I'm furious. The extremely thick gel he put on there began to peel. It was just a mess!!
So, after some time i took those nails off. I guess i hadn't learned my lesson because i waltzed myself right back in there for the third time. This time i was able to go back to the person i seen originally. He was with a client and tried to tell me to go to the person who screwed me up. I refused and waited for him.
Let me just say this... My nails "look" very nice. But they hurt like hell. He filed my skin so vigorously it tore. Literally! And he chopped my cuticles all up. Granted he did a MUCH MUCH MUCH nicer job than his colleague, I'm unsatisfied and do not recommend T Nails to anyone!
Thangs for reading.
Good luck!
