Point Brugge has great food and a good atmosphere. For appetizers, I would really recommend getting the cheese and meat plates. Think stinky cheeses, sharp granular mustard, and decadent cuts of great cured meat. Hands down favorite for an entree is the traditional Moules Frites. I would also recommend the ice cream with Belgian chocolate sauce. Dark and rich. See the photos already posted if you're on the fence. They also do fish and pork well here. The Mac and Cheese is an amazing appetizer that a few friends who came here when they visited me four years ago, still rave about .
The only reservation I have is about the wait. The restaurant is small, which gives its layout a more intimate feel than most higher-end Pittsburgh restaurants, but means that there can be often a wait of at least an hour if you come on a popular night. This can be fun if you're with friends or on a date. You'll end up squeezed around the bar, enjoying (reasonably priced) wine or one of their many Belgian beers. Unfortunately, it also means that it doesn't make sense to go here if you're starving, if you need to take people out for business, or are on a tight schedule.
