DO NOT COME ON FREE DAY, I REPEAT DO. NOT. COME. ON. FREE. DAY. This museum had been on my bucket list for a while and I was excited to bring my SO here to get our history on but were blasted away by the sheer number of people present. It was pleasant to just walk in for free but not enjoyable for a couple of bored adults who had to trip over children, listen to screaming babies, and hear parents call their children "dumba****" for accidentally letting go of their hands. The museum itself is pretty cool and probably worth every penny for an adult ticket on a normal day, but going on free day was just a mess. Honestly its probably a hazard for this many people to be in a pretty tight place all at once. I was going to give the museum 3 stars because of my experience, but it wouldn't be fair, its not the museums fault for smelling like play-doh, full diapers, and sweaty hands for a day. Aside from all of this, there are really fantastic displays and walk throughs, I might try again on a lighter afternoon.
