If I could give a lower review than one star I would. This company is rude, unorganized, and unprofessional.
My fridge was on manufacture warranty. The ice machine stopped making ice only after owning it for two months. Call the fridge manufacture set up work order and a date and time of when Appliance Express is going to come.
Appliance express never called never showed up on the date given to me by manufacturer. So after hearing nothing for two weeks I called them and they schedule a date for repair. The morning of the repair they call me and give me a two hour window, I advised I am agreeable to anytime before 2pm. 2pm rolls around, they didn't show again!
I call and they said two work orders must have got stuck together and tell me will send it back to dispatch to call me to set up a new date.
I get a call from dispatch and arrange another date. Like before they call morning of repair give me a two hour window, once again tell them anytime before 2pm. Finally they arrive to the actual appointment. There is a yellow slip at home when I arrive and they have to order a part.
I get a call from dispatcher when part is in and we arrange a date. Service guy calls and arranges time frame, I again advised just needs to be before 2 pm. My roommate informs me that the service guy showed up but other throwing his bag on my counter knocking a open soda onto the floor then wiping up the mess with my hand towel haphazardly and literally dropping a 1/2 full soda into a sink with glass dishes and leaving a sticky mess everywhere she has no idea what was done as he left suddenly without speaking to her. When I arrive home I find a crumpled up packet of paper left on my stove top. I open it up to find instructions on how to repair my ice maker. I check out the ice maker, still broken no ice being made.
I wait a few days to give Appliance express time to call me and tell me what is going on. No such luck so I call them again. They tell me they fixed it and billed the manufacturer. I advised them its not fixed. They tell me its too late and to call manufacture and make a new work order and they will replace the ice machine.
I call manufacturer open completely new work order and I get a dispatch call again from appliance express. Schedule a date. Get call from service guy at 10am and call him back and tell them again needs to be before 2pm. However this time that is a issue I was put on hold for 15 minutes all while in the back ground I can hear the people talking. They are being rude and abrupt. I explain to them this is not the first time they have been out to my house and I have always requested before 2 pm because no one is home after 2 and they tell me they will try but its not likely it will happen.
I get a call at 2:15 from service guy saying he cannot make it before 2 pm that day. Duh! its 2:15 he said will send it back to dispatch.
I never get a call from dispatch. I call appliance express and at this point I am extremely upset. I ask for the manager and the person who answers, Scott, says he is the manager. He tries to excuse their behavior saying they are really busy with lots of broken Ice makers. He promises me he himself will come out to the repair. We set up another appointment for the next day.
I get a call from Scott and set up 2 hour window. Tel him any time before 2pm. And that is the last I have heard from them. my roommate confirms he showed up didn't speak a word to her. There was appliance express card left on my counter and nothing at all heard since. Ice maker is still broken. My roommate stated that the person who showed up is the same person that has been coming out to the house the entire time.
