| - This business truly deserves ZERO stars. I purchased a dress of the rack at this location. I was told that the dress was only tried on once or twice. I inquired as to whether or not the dress had any damage, and was told that the only imperfections were the dirt stains along the hem and the bust line of the dress. Prior to making the purchase, I even had the seamstress at the store take a look at the dress. She too assured me there were no damages, and that I would only have to take the dress in since it was a larger size.
I took the dress in for alterations since my wedding is 2 months away Upon examining the dress closely, my seamstress found holes all along the back and sides of the dress. The holes are in the very top layer of the tulle, and while some holes will disappear when the dress is taken in, others would require complicated repairs - if they can be repaired at all.
I'm faced with hundreds upon hundreds of dollars worth of additional repairs even though I was assured by the staff at Demetrios that the dress had no such damages. A seamstress at Demetrios was staring right at the back of the dress and must have seen the damage, and said absolutely nothing.
I call the location at Legacy Village and was basically told, "Sorry, your case is closed, once you're out the door, it's your problem". I've now been waiting for a call back from the district manager for over a week. I also e-mailed their corporate, and received no response from them either. I don't even know if my dress can be fixed and there are not many options for other dresses when my wedding is just 2 months away.
I should have trusted the negative reviews for this location that are all over the internet - they have terrible customer service, poor alterations, and apparently do not stand behind the dresses they sell.
