  • I've been to La Torretta a few times and they have definitely made a fan out of me. You have to call ahead a few days if you want it, but I ordered the Ossobuco. Fantastic!! The meat was melt in your mouth, fall off the bone, savory goodness. All the flavors were there and you can tell they make everything fresh. No pre made frozen stuff here. The Chicken Alfredo is another favorite of mine here. The bread is always fresh and has that perfect crispy crust. I've met the owner, he's a really personable guy and great with customers, he definitely knows what service is all about! The people crying about price on Yelp, #1 this is North Scottsdale, #2 you get what you pay for. This isn't some commercialized generic Italian restaurant, it's home made, fresh, authentic Italian food. If I could make one suggestion it would be to lighten up the place a bit and maybe look at modernizing the decor. Other than that, they still get 5 stars from me for amazing food and great service!
