  • Every year for my birthday we go to Vegas and stay on the strip but this year I finally talked my husband into staying here to experience Fremont St. I have always had a great experience at the Golden Nugget and for MONTHS I bragged to my husband about how amazing the pool is!! I was so excited for him to experience it. We arrived the last weekend of March this year, Friday at 3pm. I noticed the aquarium was down when we checked in, but we assumed it was being cleaned. The next day I asked the front desk what was going on, because that was literally my selling point to get my husband to come here!!! The woman was extremely rude and told me "it's under construction"! She said I should've known because it's all over their website! When I asked to speak with a manager she told me to go to the back of a long line because she works box office and can't help. I was so disappointed in the way we were treated, we just walked away. Now my husband could care less about ever going back. Too bad, because we will be headed to Vegas again in August.
