Wilts exploring the great and lively downtown area this last Friday my hubby and I were walking back to our Hotel after checking out the bands a plenty at Beauty Bar and I managed to roll my ankle. I Despite the intense pain and loud popping noise I refused to go to the Dr. as I hate all the medical bills that come with the 5 hour wait, lack of personality or sense of humor and terrible treatment I have experienced from the staff at previous emergency rooms but by the next night my ankle looked more like a bluish colored baseball. My discomfort trumped my displeasure and I raised the white flag and finally gave in to my husbands persistent nudging to go. We went to Centennial Hills as it was the closest Hospital to our home. To my surprise from the minute I hopped through the door on my crutches we were greeted with professionalism and personality. So hard to find! Check in was super fast, preliminary exam right after, x-ray, then splint, Specialist referral and prescription. We were in and out in under two hours. And even more important than that, each person we came in contact with was friendly, courteous and professional. They treated each person as an individual and showed personal care and attention. They laughed and joked with us easing the pain of the situation. My husband and I left amazed and both agreed that this was by far the most painless and almost pleasant Hospital experience we have ever had and we have had more than a few with our kids breaking bones or needing stitches etc. I hope we don't have the need to go to an ER again, but if ever we do, I will be taking my family here.
