| - I usually only reviews when received outstanding service. And all my Yalp reviews before this were very positive. This is the first time I'm in shocking and am very disappointed. I must lay it out there: this rating is solely my personal opinion base on my personal experience. Rating it's not apply to their service to other customers or other cleaners. If you are fortunate received great service, great! But I'm not that lucky. I got referrals by my banker, he recommended HurraHome to me when I'm looking for home cleaning service. I booked an appointment a week before on Saturday, received confirmation on Sunday that a cleaner was founded on line and she accepted my appointment for coming Friday. I booked half day off yesterday planed to meet my cleaner at home the 1st time, and I was so excited. HurraHome sent me agreement before submitted the appointment, everything went smoothly until the night before the appointment, I still haven't heard anything from the cleaner. So I gave her a call. She said was looking forward to meet me as well. On the appointment morning I received a quick text message from the cleaner my appointment must be canceled the last minute due to she allergic to mold (She just read details for what needs to be cleaned I entered on line a week ago: the cocking area between bathtub and wall needs to be cleaned because of the mold). I'm embarrassed and shocked. I asked her because the last minute cancellation, can she notice the company and find other cleaner... she said she is newly work with the company.
I contacted Blake, he responded quickly the appointment is canceled due to the mold issue and fully defended this is depending on cleaners and clients. Company is a platform for connecting clients with cleaners. The mold must be handled by professional and not expecting cleaning company can do. Excuse me, bathtub cocking trim area got black mold dots from time to time by the moisture, it's not like my whole place has mold. I'm embarrassed. I spent the afternoon that I booked off to clean it myself eventually. I think positive I'm lucky this happened way before the service even begins. What happened the cleaner comes over and give me attitudes? How can I trust and invite someone into my home without checking your appointment details and without communication with your client? I was arranging bi-weekly on going service, this is a long term relationship!! How can I trust and believe? I work in luxury brand retail industry, I handle customer service every day. This by far the poor communication and experience I have. So when Blake offered me a credit for next service and suggested me one other cleaner in my area I can contact.... but I lost my faith in this service/company.
Blake is right, maybe they are not the right service for me (Another note, I hate to say but never ever argues with customer).
Sometimes you pay what you get. I'm moving on.
