| - On a recent trip to Arizona, I was looking for a place to hang out, have a couple of beers, and watch the Green Bay / Cardinals playoff game in a comfortable location. We settled on Four Peaks (which is strangely near Twin Peaks of scantly clad women fame), and settled in for the game.
I wouldn't say this is the nicest establishment to watch a game. It did get EXTREMELY loud mainly because of some idiot Packers fans getting excited for a simple 5 yard catch. So loud in fact that our AMAZING waitress ended up talking to them about the idea of calm behavior when someone runs for a 2 yard gain. Awesome, and probably the best part of this place. The food was average with wings that were dry and overcooked, and other appetizers that offered little in flavor. The beer, which was brewed in house, was some of the better local brews I had tasted on this trip.
If you can't tell, this was a visit of ups and down. What the atmosphere and food were lacking, was made up by the service and the beer. I'm not sure I'll be back, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't try it out for yourself to see if you can get all four qualities to work in your favor.
