| - We came from a long distance and unfortunately didn't know what we were walking into. The pictures and descriptions online are false advertising for this apartment complex. I am no where NEAR picky, but there are so many things wrong with this place.
CONS:
-Has not ever been renovated. It's just as old as when it was built.
-Things are constantly breaking and take weeks to get fixed (even a stinky garbage disposal).
-Huge gaps in screen door and front door to living room (multiple flies have been coming into our apartment through the door, even with the air on).
-When we moved in, our apartment smelled horribly of smoke, and STILL does unless we keep the windows and doors open (we are non-smokers).
-Management does anything to get you to live here, but once you do, you are no longer a priority (our work orders were always put in and forgotten about, or not put in in the first place).
-Tenants apparently like to throw trash all over the place and the garbage bins are often overflowing.
-One small utility closet outside the apartment. Other than that, ZERO storage.
-Their website says "Olympic sized swimming pool with spa". Definitely not a large pool. There is no spa, and no bathroom available to use while at pool.
PROS:
-Fairly quiet unless you have neighbors who like to play loud music at night.
-New pool furniture.
-Close to downtown Glendale.
Basically, you get what you pay for. It was cheap, and we've learned our lesson. Very disappointed that we wasted a year here.
