Doing the brunch rounds with friends and we came across Starving Artist. The location is small - so be prepared to wait, we came around 10 am and waited 15 for a table (not the worst) It is tight, but space around tables/chairs so you won't feel crammed as you dine. There is a tonne of waffles on the menu - it's their thing and the waffles are good. We tried the 'bacon waffles' which was the first time in the city Ive seen something like that. The price and the plating of the meals were good and overall no complaints about the meal. Everyone liked their dishes - but it just failed to win the "best brunch" ever category I've had at other locales. Worth a visit, but don't know if I would trek out there again!
