| - I have walked by this salon a gazillion times. Conveniently located in Downtown Summerlin, the bright white interior with teal accents and blowdryers suspended from the ceiling called my name. With my office holiday party around the corner, I gave them a jingle and made an appointment for 8 am on a Saturday.
I loved the I wanted to look good and feel good without spending an hour to two hours attempting to round brush my hair out. It is not an easy feat to style my unruly, frizzy curls into a cute, smoothed out style.
The morning of my appointment, I threw my wild curls up into a super messy bun. My curls were SUPER dry and in knots. I needed a deep conditioner and explained that to Tanna, my stylist, upon my arrival. She completed the initial consult, asking me what look I wanted. I explained I love big hair with lots of volume at the root. She knew what I was going for and ushered me to the back to wash my and slathered my hair with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner mask.
She kept a good conversation while she detangled my knots with their Obliphica hair care line. My stylist used their moisturizing line from the bottle that accommodates medium to coarse hair. It legitimately revitalized and smoothed my hair. The seaberry in that line also made my hair smell incredible! In the end, my hair looked amazing after she wrapped up my blowout. My hair was pumped full of volume with a slight curl at the ends. Better yet, it held the style for following two days. I stretched it to a third, and it still looked good - I had some help from trusty dry shampoo and wore it up in a full pony.
Hot Tips:
- If you love your results, they have membership packages you can purchase. I believe they have one for $55 for two blowouts monthly or $99 for unlimited blowouts. It is like having a personal stylist, and your hair will always look great! I did not opt for the membership. However, I can understand why one would love to have it!
- Go online to book an appointment- super easy, convenient, and quick.
- Obliphica Hair Care - Wow! If you have coarse hair that's hard to tame, give this line a whirl (purple line for coarse hair/orange line for fine hair). It smells amazing, protects against heat styling, and moisturized my dry, brittle hair into healthy, smooth hair. It is a 'worth it' splurge. I will keep buying it to keep my hair looking healthy. I have been using it for the last week, and I love the resuts!
