OK would have given it 6 stars after the first 24 hours... the adrenalin and excitement have worn off and I can evaluate with a little more clarity. I drove four different cars 5 laps each and couldn't stop smiling for about 24 hours.
FIRST the good: The staff are TOP NOTCH. Everyone was beyond professional and friendly. It was like being at Disney as far as customer service is concerned. The cars were EXACTLY as advertised and they were clean and ready and just gorgeous. They didn't handicap us and did set the controls in track or race mode. I had a spectacular time and WILL do it again in the future.
Now the bad: And the reason I didn't give it 5 or 6 stars. The video of your ride has no telemetry which I assumed it would (It's not even an option - my fault for not asking). In the end I got no lap times to track my progress and no idea what my top speed was in any of the cars. Even without telemetry I think that could have been provided. The video is just a camera mounted in the rear deck between you and the passenger that doesn't do the ride justice but will provide you with some view of the ride (a dash cam MIGHT have been better but probably a visibility problem). The photos they take of you with the car before you drive it are nice but they just take one shot from the front quarter of the car. I think they should get a profile shot or one of you behind the wheel. Maybe a few shots that you can choose from. It's digital media - one click deletes the ones you don't buy.
In the end I restate - I WILL be back. Hopefully they will upgrade before I do. Next time it's the Racecar Experience for me.
