I have to say I am really bummed about my experience here. I usually hit up Seor Ak San in China town whenever I have a craving for Korean food. Maybe it was the 5 star rating I saw for this place, I think I expected too much. I made an impromptu visit to this place on a weekday afternoon with a few friends. the restaurant is pretty small. The service was quite prompt. The menu had limited options and they did not have bibimbap.
We ordered bulgogi, dumplings and pork donkatsu. The bulgogi was served almost instantly which probably meant the food was prepared in advance. Unlike other places, it was quite watery and not temperature wise not very hot. The pork donkatsu was not bad but the sauce on top of it tasted a lot like ketchup. It came with a salad which was again dressed with mayonnaise and ketchup. It was definitely not authentic. The service was a bit lacking as no one came to refill our water. This place is more a 2.5 star overall.
I don't think I will come back to this place especially since China Town has far better options and is much closer.
