| - I wish zero stars was an option. I have been staying at this location (forcibly so) for a month.
When I first came to this hotel, I entered after hours and could not enter through the lobby (which makes sense). IN the vestibule where I was waiting for someone to open the doors, there was a homeless man sitting on the bench muttering to himself and cutting himself with a carved wooden object. He was bleeding from both arms and then he began heckling me for money. I repeatedly called Extended Stay so they could open the lobby doors and let me in so I could check0in and receive my hotel key, and I had to call four times before someone told me that they had "stepped away from the desk for one minute." It had been at least 10 minutes. When I informed the lady who let me in that there was a homeless man cutting himself in the lobby, she informed me that this was "normal" and did not do anything further with the matter. Additionally, she then tried to tell me that they were completely booked and she could not allow me to stay for the night (despite my 31-day reservation at this establishment). Finally, after urging her to recheck the computer system, she placed me in a room that reeked of smoke and was surrounded by noisy neighbors who were smoking cigarettes and marijuana. Although they make you sign a contract saying you will NOT smoke at this establishment, this is NOT the case. Many, many people smoke and even when you inform the front desk, nothing is ever done.
Also, having housekeeping clean your room is a chore in and of itself. I have had to call the front desk MULTIPLE TIMES to have my room cleaned and I have to do that several days in a row before anything is done. Even when they clean your room, they do not change the sheets. My sheets had dark hair all over them as well, and that is not my hair color.
The internet is another issue. As someone who depends on internet for work for WebEx conference calls, this is NOT the hotel for you. I had to miss multiple conference calls because of this establishment even AFTER UPGRADING.
I have spoken with numerous people I work with and they have told me that this hotel is infamous for having roaches and sewage pipes burst which is painfully evident when you walk through the halls. Laundry is $2.00 for washer and the same price for drying.
I would never suggest this establishment even to my worst enemy. I would suggest any other hotel in Las Vegas before this one. Bottomline: I never felt safe, secure, or helped from the employees. This establishment needs a complete overhaul.
