  • On two occasions they have recommended service that my personal mechanic said was not needed. The first was for engine mounts (vehicle was brought it for a broken sunroof), and the second was for new tires. (brought it for airbag recall) My mechanic said it only needed a tire rotation. When he went to do it, two lug nuts were frozen and had to be broken off. (the hub had to be taken apart to the tune of a few hundred dollars) Tempe Honda was the last to touch my wheels. The only reason the pulled the wheels was for the "safety check." They froze my lug nuts doing work I didn't ask them to do! Unfortunately I like Honda and my current car has over 260,000 miles but I won't buy a Honda because I don't trust their service department closest to where I live. Toyota, here I come.
