  • I made numerous visits to the Charlotte Humane Society in my search to adopt a dog. Every time, the staff was friendly, helpful, kind, informative, and patient with my many questions (especially as a first-time dog owner). The application process was easy, and I was approved in less than 2 hours. I also found the volunteers to be very helpful and clearly committed to the animals there. I really appreciated everyone's patience as this helped find the perfect dog for me. Thank you, Humane Society of Charlotte, and keep up the great work!
